Not worth the money, have read much better books, with more explanations and more details. Just not that good.

This is a well written, comprehensive source for information on all types of home solar systems. It has a wealth of information for the home owner who wants to see if solar is is the right choice. I would recommend this book to users in the information gathering phase. Well worth the money to get you started.

The book came within three days and it was during one of the busiest times of the year. It was in good condition and is very useful. Thank you!

I regret having purchased this book... I should've spent a bit more money and gotten a more comprehensive guide to Solar Power. Someone could argue it's for beginners but it left me wanting more... A book about alternative energy systems should be more detail oriented.

The unit did not function when it arrived, and when I looked into the return policy I found that the company will not pay for return shipping on any replacement in the warranty period. I am returning and selecting a different manufacturer so that if I do need warranty service I won't be stuck with a bill shipping the unit to them and then with the bill for sending a replacement back to me.

I was increasing security around my house and wanted to install solar powerd motion sensor lights. I did a Google search and the Maxsa continued to come up. I like to purchase through Amazon because of their reputation. I recieved it very fast, put it out so the battery could charge, installed at location I chose, and it works perfectly. You're able to set sensitivity of motion sensor and how dark you want it to be before it will come on+ the length of time the light stays on. So far,so good!

The product is ok for the money but its hard to get just the right setting that you need. The adjustment dials are very small and you have to wait for dusk/daylight to make any adjustment and that usually involves climbing on a ladder. I'd rather not have to do that more than once, but its ok for the money spent.

The security light is mediocre. Guess that's because it's solar, they aren't as bright as the lights hooked up to electricity. But, the worst problem was that it took an unbelievably long time to get. I've shipped and received packages from all over the world, and they never took even half the time to get as this did. So, I would definitely NOT buy from the supplier of this light.

I have always seen under powered solar lights in my other people's yard, and I was just hoping that this product would be different -- and it is! I was impressed how much light and area it covered and really works well as a security light. Love it!<br />
