Got this for my wife, I have similar product that I got for really cheap at a discount store. They work great. Easy to sync, easy to take and place calls. I prefer these over the headphone style. They’re just easier to deal with than a headset. So, we’ve had it for about a month and haven’t had to charge it other than the initial charge, so the solar panels work:) The only thing is that you have to talk loud when speaking…. so the person on the other end can hear you. Also the volume of the caller calling you could be higher too. But…They work, they’re easy and we won’t be getting a ticket.

Audio quality is clear enough, although not the best. The size is pretty small, tucks away in the corner of windshield nicely. The solar charger has been working since day one (its been a month). no problems regarding loosing charge or anything similar.

Definitely worth try if you are looking for an alternative to standard in-ear bluetooth headsets. With this, you just sit in the car and it works.

I got this to use in the hot sun of the black rock desert. It performed as well as I expected. My only criticisms are that if even a single finger is in front of part of the panel it completely cuts all power (but I think is the same with all panels) and the output was pretty far off from the specifications. This may also be normal but I put on a voltage regulator chip (~$1 at radio shack) because it was putting out almost 20V and I only wanted 12V.

Worked great to charge my phone or run a 12V fan.

I like this hands free a lot is not just like normal bluetooth I use to have this can even play music as a wireless speaker you never have to charge it, also the mic and the speaker sound are excellent, I dont know why but it also comes with a car usb adapter, its cool because I can charge my phone while it is in bluetooth mode…

Excellent solution for hansfree!! recommended

I have always seen under powered solar lights in my other people’s yard, and I was just hoping that this product would be different — and it is! I was impressed how much light and area it covered and really works well as a security light. Love it!

This book provides a well thought out introduction to the physics of photovoltaic cells and systems. The treatment provides mathematical details at a level that will be accessible to science and engineering graduates and upper class undergraduates. Some derivations are not as well explained as others. However, the working relationships are worth knowing and can serve as a lead into other references. The book is well worth its relatively modest cost.

I was increasing security around my house and wanted to install solar powerd motion sensor lights. I did a Google search and the Maxsa continued to come up. I like to purchase through Amazon because of their reputation. I recieved it very fast,put it out so the battery could charge,installed at location I chose, and it works perfectly. You’re able to set sensitivity of motion sensor and how dark you want it to be before it will come on+ the length of time the light stays on. So far,so good!

The security light is mediocre. Guess that’s because it’s solar, they aren’t as bright as the lights hooked up to electricity. But, the worst problem was that it took an unbelievably long time to get. I’ve shipped and received packages from all over the world, and they never took even half the time to get as this did. So, I would definitely NOT buy from the supplier of this light.

This is a great book for senior undergrads and graduate students. It focuses on other solar cell materials besides Silicon. It was a great reference for teaching material and I referenced it in my PhD thesis. I recommend this book in addition to Martin Green’s Solar Cell book (standard undergrad solar cell reference book.)
